Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Engine

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
2. Disconnect the engine evaporative emission (EVAP) line quick connect fitting from the canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
3. Disconnect the engine EVAP line quick connect fitting from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
4. Remove the engine EVAP line (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine EVAP line (1).
2. Connect the engine EVAP line quick connect fitting to the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
3. Connect the engine EVAP line quick connect fitting to the canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
