- System Configuration Not Programmed
Circuit/System Description
After replacing the power steering control module (PSCM) it must be setup with the correct steering tuning.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The PSCM has not undergone the steering tuning selection procedure.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* DTC C0569 46 is stored in memory.
* The driver information center (DIC) displays the POWER STEERING warning message.
* The PSCM defaults to steering tuning 1.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
* A current DTC will clear after the PSCM has been setup with the correct steering tuning.
* A history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles from when the PSCM has been setup.
Diagnostic Aids
A newly replaced PSCM will set DTC C0569 46 on its initial ignition ON cycle.

Verify that DTC C0569 46 is not set.
If the DTC is set, perform the PSCM setup procedure. If the DTC resets, replace the PSCM.
