Folding Top Rear Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side trim covers. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.




2. Remove the 3 nuts (1) from the folding top rear latch.
3. Remove the folding top rear latch (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the folding top rear latch (2) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the 3 nuts (1) to the folding top rear latch.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear side trim covers. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Ensure the rear compartment lid closes properly.
