Power Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front side door trim panel applique. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Applique Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
4. Using a taped flat-bladed tool (2) Disengage the two clips (1) from the clearance between the outer mirror glass and visor.
5. Disengage the remaining clip. (3).




6. Disengage the four clips and remove the outer mirror cover.




7. Disengage the clip (1).
8. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).




9. Remove the three screws.
10. Disengage the clip and remove the outer rear view mirror.

Installation Procedure




1. Engage the clip, and install the outer rear view mirror assembly.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

2. Install the three screws. Tighten the outside rearview screws to 9 Nm (80 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connector (2).
4. Engage the clip (1).




5. Engage the seven clips and install the outer mirror cover.
6. Install the front side door trim applique. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Applique Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
