Oil Pan Removal

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil pan drain plug (1) from the oil pan.




2. Remove the 12 bolts (1) and 2 nuts (2).





Note: Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces of the crankcase, chain cover and oil pan.

3. Insert the blade of oil pan seal cutter between the crankcase, chain cover and oil pan, then cut through the applied sealer and remove the oil pan.
