Camshaft Cover Removal

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil filler cap from the cylinder head cover.
2. If necessary, remove the oil filler cap gasket (1) from the oil filler cap.




3. If necessary , using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, remove the ventilation valve (1) from the cylinder head cover.
4. Remove the retaining bolt from each of the ignition coils and remove the coils.
5. Remove spark plugs.




6. Remove the 8 bolts (1,2,3,4,6,7,8,10) and 2 nuts (25) , and remove the cylinder head cover.




7. Remove cylinder head cover gasket from the cylinder head cover.
