18. Transmission Case Disassemble

Transmission Case Disassemble




1. Remove the bolt (1) and the inner bearing retainer.




2. Remove the differential gear fluid pipe (1) from the housing.




3. Using a puller (1), remove the front differential drive pinion gear inner bearing from the housing.




4. Using a puller (1), remove the front differential drive pinion gear outer bearing from the transmission case.
5. Using a drift punch and a hammer, remove the output gear bearing inner race from the transmission case.
6. Using a drift punch and a hammer, remove the output gear bearing outer race from the transmission case.




7. Using a screwdriver, remove the output gear bearing retaining ring from the transmission case.




8. Using a screwdriver, remove the manual shaft seal from the transmission case.




9. Using a drift punch and hammer, remove the front wheel drive shaft seal from the transmission case.
10. Remove the front wheel drive shaft seal from the differential housing.
