2nd Clutch Housing Assemble




1. Install the 2nd clutch housing fluid passage sleeve to the transmission case.




2. Install the 2nd clutch plates (1-5) to the transmission case.




3. Using a screwdriver, install the snap rings (1, 2) to the transmission case.




4. Inspect the pack clearance of the 2nd clutch plates.

Note: If the clearance is not within the specified range, select a new brake plate.

5. Using a dial indicator, measure the 2nd clutch plate pack clearance while applying and releasing compressed air.

Pack clearance - 0.85-1.24 mm (0.0334- 0.0488 in)

6. There are 4 different thicknesses of plates available. Refer to Transmission General Specifications (Transmission General Specifications) Transmission General Specifications for the 2nd clutch plate thickness chart.
