Transmission Case Disassemble

Special Tools
* J 22888 Right Differential Side Bearing Puller
* J 23907 Slide Hammer with Bearing Adaptor
* J 37159 Clutch Shaft Inner Bearing Installer




1. Using J 23907 , remove the outer carrier bearing from the transaxle case.




2. Remove the 4th clutch housing oil seal rings (1) from the transaxle case.




3. Remove the fluid pressure test hole plugs.
4. Remove the O-rings from the fluid pressure test hole plugs.




5. Using J 22888 and J 37159 , remove the front drive pinion gear inner bearing from the transaxle case.




6. Remove the oil seal ring (1) from the transaxle housing.




7. Remove the bolt (2), fluid pipe retainer (1) and fluid pipe (3) from the transaxle housing.
