Transmission Fluid Pump Disassemble

J 2619-01 Slide Hammer




1. Remove the forward clutch housing fluid seal rings (1).




2. Remove the bolts (1-11) and separate the fluid pump body from the fluid pump cover.
3. Keep the gears in the assembled order.




4. Remove the front oil pump drive gear (1).




5. Remove the front oil pump driven gear (1).




6. Using a screwdriver, remove the fluid pump seal (1).




7. Mount the oil pump body in a soft jaw vise.
8. Using J 2619-01 (1), remove the oil seal from the oil pump body.
