Low and Reverse Clutch Piston Installation

J-47339-1 Piston Return Spring Compressor




1. Coat the new O-rings with ATF WS.
2. Install the O-rings (1, 2) to the low and reverse clutch piston.




3. Coat the low and reverse clutch piston (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transaxle case.
4. Install the return spring.




5. Compress the return spring with a press (1) using J-47339-1 .
6. Using a snap ring expander, install the snap ring to the transaxle case to retain the low and reverse clutch piston.
