Radio Antenna Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left and right upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Remove the rear assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the two rear headliner retainers and reposition the headliner for radio antenna access.
5. Remove the nut (1).
6. Remove the antenna wire (2) from the four clips (1).
7. Disengage the two clips (2) and remove the antenna assembly (1).
Installation Procedure
1. Engage the two clips (2) and install the antenna assembly (1).
2. Place the antenna cable on the cut out on the antenna nut (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
3. Install the antenna assembly with the antenna nut (1)
Tighten the antenna base nut (1) to 4.5 Nm (40 lb in).
4. Install the antenna wire (2) with the four clips (1).
5. Reposition the headliner and install the two retainers.
6. Install the rear assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the left and right rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
8. Install antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement (Service and Repair).
