Radio Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the IP accessory center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the 4 bolts (1),(2),(3),(4) which secure the radio.
3. Pull the radio from the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the following from the radio:

* The electrical connector
* The antenna lead




5. Remove the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the right side bracket.




6. Remove the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the left side bracket.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the left side bracket.

Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




2. Install the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the right side bracket.

Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




3. Connect the following from the radio:

* The electrical connector
* The antenna lead

4. Install the radio to the instrument panel.
5. Install the 4 bolts (1),(2),(3),(4) which secure the radio.

Tighten the four bolts to 13 Nm (10 lb ft).

6. Install the IP accessory center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement).
