Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the headrest, if necessary. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement).
2. Fold the rear seat back cushion to the down position.
3. Remove the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) from the back seat back cushion cover.
4. Remove the center rear seat belt retractor, if necessary. Refer to Rear Seat Center Retractor Side Belt Replacement (Rear Seat Center Retractor Side Belt Replacement).
5. Remove the hinge bolts (2) from the rear seat back cushion (3).
6. Remove the rear seat back cushion (3)

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the rear seat back cushion (3) to the vehicle. Secure the rear seat back cushion with the 2 bolts (2).

Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 31 Nm (23 lb ft).

2. Install the center rear seat belt retractor, if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Center Retractor Side Belt Replacement (Rear Seat Center Retractor Side Belt Replacement).
3. Install the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) to the back of the seat back cushion cover.
4. Return the seat back to the upright position.
5. Install headrest, if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement).
