Oil Pump Assemble

Assembly Procedure




1. Coat the oil pump drive and driven rotors with engine oil, and place them into the oil pump with the marks (1) facing the oil pump cover side.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the oil pump cover with the 5 bolts (1-5) and tighten to 8.8 Nm (78 lb in)..




3. Coat the relief valve (3) with engine oil.
4. Insert the relief valve and spring (2) into the pump body hole.
5. Using a 27 mm socket wrench, install the plug (1) and tighten to 49 Nm (36 lb ft).
