49. Exhaust Manifold Installation

Exhaust Manifold Installation




1. Install a new gasket onto the exhaust manifold.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the exhaust manifold with the 5 nuts (1-5) and tighten to 21 Nm (16 lb ft).




3. Install the manifold support bracket with the 3 bolts (1-3)and tighten to 43 Nm (32 lb ft).




4. Install exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 4 bolts (1-40 and tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb ft).
