Intake Manifold Removal

1. Install the engine stand.
2. Set the engine on an engine stand.
3. Remove the engine hanger.
4. Remove the bolt and fan belt adjusting bar.
5. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket.
6. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the air tube.
7. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the intake manifold.




8. Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses (1,2).




9. Remove the 4 bolts (1,3,5 and 6) and 2 nuts (2,4), and remove the intake manifold and intake manifold stay.
10. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
11. Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly.
12. Remove the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly.
13. Remove the fuel injector assembly.
