Tire Pressure Indicator Receiver Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Remove the bolt (2) from the tire pressure monitoring receiver (1).
4. Disconnect the connector (1) from the tire pressure monitoring receiver.
5. Remove the tire pressure monitoring receiver from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the connector (1) to the tire pressure monitoring receiver.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
2. Install the tire pressure monitoring receiver and the bolt (1). Engage the 2 tabs (2) into the holes.
Tighten the bolt to 7.5 Nm (66 lb in).
3. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
5. Configure the system. Refer to Tire Pressure Monitor System Configuration (Programming and Relearning).
