Direct Clutch Assembly Disassemble




1. Using a screwdriver, remove the piston seals (1, 2) from the direct clutch piston.




2. Using a screwdriver, remove the direct clutch housing seal (1) from the direct clutch housing.




3. Remove the 2-4 clutch plates from the transmission case.




4. Remove the direct clutch hub bearing race, the roller bearing, and the thrust bearing race from the direct clutch hub.




5. Remove the direct clutch hub from the rear sun gear.
