Front Seat Replacement - Bucket

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to SIR Warning (SIR Warning).

1. Disable the SIR system, if equipped with side impact inflatable restraint modules. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the outer seat track cover.




3. On FWD models, remove the inner seat track cover.




4. On AWD models, remove the inner seat track cover.




5. Remove the 2 rear seat mounting bolts.




6. Remove the 2 front seat mounting bolts.
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors under the front seat.
8. Remove the front seat assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the front seat assembly.
2. Connect the electrical connectors under the front seat.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the 2 front seat mounting bolts.

Tighten the front seat assembly bolts to 47 Nm (35 lb ft).




4. Install the 2 rear seat mounting bolts.




5. On AWD models, install the inner seat track cover.




6. On FWD models, install the inner seat track cover.




7. Install the outer seat track cover.
8. Enable the SIR system, if disabled. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair).
9. Perform the Passenger Presence Rezeroing procedure. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing (Programming and Relearning).
