Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (GT)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (Rear Brake Rotor Replacement).
2. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector from the sensor.
Position the sensor harness to the side.
3. Use mechanics wire in order to support the park brake assembly.




4. Remove the 4 bolts (1, 2, 3, 4) and the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly with the 4 bolts (1, 2, 3, 4) and tighten to 56 Nm (41 lb ft).
2. Remove the mechanics wire.
3. Connect the the rear wheel speed sensor connector.
4. Install the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (Rear Brake Rotor Replacement).
