1-2-3-4-Reverse Clutch Sprag Installation




1. Coat the discs with ATF WS.
2. Install the 1, 2, 3, 4 reverse clutch discs (1), plates (3) and flange (2) to the transmission case.




3. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring (1).





Note: Securely install the outer race retainer onto the tooth of the 1, 2, 3 4 reverse clutch sprag.

4. Install the outer race retainer (1) to the 1, 2, 3, 4 reverse clutch sprag.





Note: Ensure that the outer race retainer and the mark on the transaxle case are aligned (1, 2).

5. Install the 1, 2, 3, 4 reverse clutch sprag to the transmission case.




6. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring (1) to the transmission case.
