Detach/Attach Engine & Transmission

Separating
- Disconnect wires on starter and backup light switch.
a) Remove circlip on top for accelerator linkage and disconnect linkage.
b) Unscrew 4 mounting nuts and take transmission off of engine.

Attaching





- Lubricate all sliding surfaces of clutch release with a multi-purpose grease containing. MoS2 and teeth of drive shaft with Optimoly HT.
- Connect release fork while bolting on release bearing.
- Check for correct positioning through opening in transmission case.
- Torque mounting nuts to: 45 Nm (32 ft lb).
