Detach/Attach Engine & Transmission

Detaching





Support plate, Manufactured locally.





- Manufacture the support plate per dimensions shown.
- Disconnect wires from starter and backup light switch.
- Remove clutch release spring. . Service and Repair-- Disassembly/Assembly of Clutch Release Spring






- Unscrew engine mounting bolt and nuts.

Attaching

- Coat all sliding surfaces of clutch release as well as spline of drive shaft with MoS 2 multi- purpose grease.





- Place hub of release bearing upright and engage release fork on hub when attaching. Check proper position through opening in transmission case.
- Install clutch release spring. Service and Repair-- Disassembly/Assembly of Clutch Release Spring
- Tighten engine mounting bolt and nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft lb).
