Work sequence
- remove suction/pressure line between turbocharger and intake air sensor, and cover opening of pressure line with a clean rag
- remove valve cover
- disconnect all fuel lines at injectors
- locate and center punch for hole in center of cylinder head flange near No. 1 fuel injector (arrow)
- drill a 13mm (1/2 inch) diameter hole
Caution:
To prevent shavings from getting inside engine, grease engine flange area before drilling, and coat drill bit with grease
- remove rag and clean up shavings

- push pipe onto piece of hose and secure with hose clamp
- push on foam rubber part
- push shaped hose onto pipe and connecting adapter
