Concern: Final muffler mounting bolt on carrier plate loose or broken.

Vehicle Information: A modified spacer sleeve with a larger contact surface area is installed on the lower bolt of the final muffler carrier plate (arrows in Figures 1 and 2). From production date: April 15,1991.

Repair Information: When repairing loose or broken final muffler lower mounting bolts on vehicles prior to the above engine numbers, install lower mounting bolt with new version spacer sleeve.

Note: On vehicles without steering servo pump (911 RS America), the new version spacer sleeve is installed on the upper and lower mounting bolt.
