How to Use Diagrams

Layout Within Central Electric
Plugs are shown from A to Z along the periphery.
The left half shows fuses and their connections.
The right half contains all relays and their switching state in off position.
The designations on plugs (inside of frame), fuses and relays refer only to connections within central electric.

Abbreviations
(example) C3 = Plug connection
I - XXII = Relay
Si. = Fuse
Ab. = Fuse outlet
Zu. = Fuse inlet

For example:
Plug X term. 8 is designated XVI87 which means there is connection to relay XVI. The relay is designated X8 to show where the wire comes from.

Plug A term. 3 is designated Si. Zu. 6 (fuse 6, inlet left), which means there is connection on inlet side of fuse no. 6.

Designations Outside of Central Electric Perphery

The designations are coordinates and show in which coordinate section of the car wiring diagram the pertinent connection can be found.

For example:
On plug M term .1 there is the designation C 2, which means the connection leads to the wiring diagram in coordinate section C 2 (concealed headlight).

There is also a designation (in this case M 1) in the target coordinate section to show where the wire comes from.
