New spur belts are marked with a paint dot on one side. The paint mark must be located to the outside during installation.

When removing an old spur belt, mark in a similar manner before removal. Ensure that the belt is reinstalled in the same position (running in the same direction as originally installed).

A used belt running in the opposite direction from original could be destroyed after a short period of operation.
