Removing/Installing Gearbox, Motor, Cables and Guide Rails

REMOVING AND INSTALLING GEARBOX, MOTOR, CABLES AND GUIDE RAILS FOR ELECTRIC SUNROOF

Removing




1. Open zipper and unscrew cover screws.




2. Disconnect electric plug. Unscrew mounting screws for gearbox and motor. Take gearbox and motor out of car.




3. Unscrew screws of adapters. Lift guide rail slightly and pull out cables forward.




4. Pull out guide rails forward.




5. Unscrew guide tube mounting nuts and take guide tube out of car.


Installing

Check all parts for damage before installing, replacing if necessary.

Installation is in reverse order.
