Work Procedure:
1. Remove CO sample pipe and bracket at clutch housing.

On 2 valve engines, remove the engine lifting bracket on the back of the cylinder head.

Note:
Because the engine lifting bracket bolts also secure the cam end cover, the cover gasket must be replaced.

2. Install the new clutch housing bracket and torque to 75 N-m (55 ft.lb.). Install the lift bracket (2 valve) and torque to 8 N-m (5.8 ft.lb.).

3. Install the new pipe by first starting the union nut on the exhaust pipe. Next install and tighten both pipe clamps. Position clamp bolts rearward of CO sample pipe (See Figure 3).

4. Tighten the union nut to 30 N-m (22 ft.lb.). The old pipe cap and clamp can be installed on the new pipe.
