ATTENTION: This bulletin replaces bulletin number 8705 dated April 23, 1987.

As a by-product of our Warranty Seminars, there have been numerous requests to acknowledge warranty parts receipt at the Technical Service Center.

Effective as of May 4, all credit note mailings will be sent with one additional copy of the Parts Submission Listing.

The three copies of this listing should be handled as follows:

1 Copy: File at dealer with shipping date information

2 Copies: Send to PCNA with shipment

Upon receipt at PCNA, the Technical Service Center will indicate parts receipt on both copies of the listing. One copy will be retained at PCNA, one copy will be sent back to the dealer as an acknowledgement.

Both parts omissions and receipt will be highlighted on the dealer's copy of the Parts Submission Listing as shown on the attached examples. "Parts Received" will be indicated on the right side, "Parts not Received" will be indicated on the left side.

Unless both copies are returned to PCNA with your parts submission, an acknowledgement cannot be sent.

Your cooperation and compliance with this change should remove all doubt concerning parts receipt.

Should questions occur in spite of this, we will require both the acknowledgement and a copy of the shipping documentation to further substantiate a claim.

For those dealers using UPS, both the Acknowledgement of Delivery and Delivery Record must also be supplied as shown on the attached examples.
