G50 Transmission from 1987 Model Year

Misalignment between the transmission and engine mounts may cause stress resulting in the transfer of transmission noises to the vehicle body.

In case of transmission noise complaints, loosen all four engine carrier bolts together (see picture) and retorque to 40 N-m (29 ft. lbs.).
