Fuel Pump Delivery Rate
924 & 944 Models (exc. Turbo)
1. Remove test port cap nut from fuel distribution line. Do not allow fuel to spill on hot engine, also ensure sealing ball does not fall out of capped nut.
2. Connect one end of suitable fuel hose to test connection and place other end in suitable measuring container.
3. Bridge fuel pump relay in electric panel located in blower fresh air chamber. On all models, fuel pump should run.
4. Let fuel run into container for 30 seconds.
5. Fuel pump should pump at least 850cc in 30 seconds.
6. Remove jumper wire and fuel hose.
7. Install test port cap nut. Torque cap nut to 16 ft. lbs.
944 Turbo Models
1. Remove test port cap nut from fuel distribution line. Do not allow fuel to spill on hot engine, also ensure sealing ball does not fall out of capped nut.
2. Connect one end of suitable fuel hose to test connection and place other end in suitable measuring container.
3. Remove fuel pump relay from central electric board, then bridge terminals 30 and 87b with suitable jumper wire. Fuel pump should run.
4. Let fuel run into container for 30 seconds.
5. Fuel pump should pump at least 850cc in 30 seconds.
6. Remove jumper wire and fuel hose.
7. Install test port cap nut. Torque cap nut to 16 ft. lbs.
