ATTENTION: Service Manager/Service Technician This bulletin replaces Technical Bulletin Group 6, Number 9006, dated July 27, 1990.
Models Affected: 911 Carrera 2 and 911 Carrera 4
Concern: The following fuse ratings have been re-evaluated and increased from 25 amp to 30 amp.
Fuse number 2 - Oil cooler blower Fuse number 13 - Sunroof/Cab top Fuse number 39 - Condenser blower A/C
From Production Date: During model year 1990
Repair Information: Unfavorable tolerance can cause current draws in excess of 25 amp in the above mentioned systems without damage to the electrical wiring. Fuses number 2, 13 and 39 on the central electric board should be replaced with 30 amp fuses (Part Number 999 607 010 00) during repairs on all '89 model year 911 C4 and early production '90 model year 911 C4 and 911 C2.

Please correct your Repair Manual wiring diagrams model year '89 and '90 911 Carrera 2/4, Sheet 11 (see figure on next page). Also the 1990 Wiring Diagram Book (Part Number PNA 000 081) fuse location tab and 911 Carrera 2/4, Sheet 11.
