Disassembly

Front Transmission Cover:

Assembly

Pressing Ball Sleeves:

1 - Press in the short spherical sleeve flush (with mandrel end A)
2 - Rotary Shaft Seal
3 - Press in the bearing bushing in the correct position (with mandrel end B)
- Using special tool 9254, press in the spherical sleeve and bearing bushing in the correct position.





A = approx. 1.5 mm

- Install the idler reverse gear with friction washers and bolt in the correct position (see exploded drawing). When the friction washers and bolt are installed correctly, the face area of the bolt is approx. 1.5 mm below the housing box and there is 0.15-0.35 mm axial play in the reverse idler gear.
