Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove fuel pump access cover under right rear of vehicle.
3. Using a pinch clamp, clamp off fuel feed line.
4. Loosen hose clamp and remove feed hose.
5. Disconnect fuel pump electrical connectors.
6. Loosen right fuel tank strap and lower pump and guard assembly.
7. Using two wrenches remove fuel pipe from filter and pump.
8. Loosen clamp and remove pump.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
