General Information: Valve guides installed in production in 924S, 944/S/T engines may not have the valve seal retaining groove that is on all replacement guides (Figure 1). Valve seals must be glued on guides without grooves.

Repair Procedure: 924S/944/944 Turbo (2 valve engines)

Valve stem seals can be replaced with the cylinder head installed.
