Models Affected: 944 S2 Model Year 1989 (K)

Concern: The yellow mounting clips (arrows Fig. 1) which retain the coolant hose to the air flow sensor bracket and to the engine cooling fan housing are too small at their inner diameter. This may cause excess pressure to the hose and mounting clip. Through engine movement and vibration, the hose may chafe or be pulled loose from its mounting.
Repair Procedure: Remove the yellow mounting clips and install black mounting clips PN 321 971 847 B which have a larger inner diameter.

Vehicle Information: Vehicles from VIN 94_KN 451613 to 94_KN 452351 should be checked and, if necessary, repaired when vehicle is in the workshop for normal service or other repairs.
