Evaporative Emissions System: Locations

CARBON CANISTER
The carbon canister is located inside the left front fender well, between the tire and the fire wall.

DIAPHRAGM VALVE #1
Diaphragm valve #1 is located in the left rear of the engine compartment, near the brake master cylinder.

DIAPHRAGM VALVE #2
Diaphragm valve #2 is located in the left rear of the engine compartment, just above diaphragm valve #1.

EXPANSION TANK
The expansion tank is located inside the body panel, just above the fuel filler neck. Access is through interior panel.

THERMOSTAT VALVE
The thermostat valve is located on the engine, beneath the intake manifold, between cylinders #1 and #2.

ROLL-OVER VALVE
The roll-over valve is located in line between the fuel tank and the carbon canister, nearest the fuel tank.
