Dear Porsche Owner:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Porsche AG has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 1990 Model Year 928 S4/GT vehicles.

The mounting nut for the fuel level sending unit, bearing no vendor identification, may crack and under certain fuel level and operating conditions result in fuel leaking from the fuel tank. If the leaking fuel were to come into contact with a hot exhaust system, it could result in a fire.
