Test Point 9 - Intake Air Termperature Sensor

Test Point 9 - Air Temperature Sensor:

CODE 1_25 - AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
1. Disconnect DME control unit under drivers seat.
2. Connect ohmmeter between harness terminals 26 and 44. Reading should be:

4.4 - 6.8 k ohms @ 32°F (0°C)
1.4 - 3.6 k ohms @ 59 - 86°F (15 - 30°C)
1.0 - 1.3 k ohms @ 104°F (40°C)

Airflow Sensor Terminal Identification:

3. If reading is incorrect, repeat test directly at air flow sensor. Connect tester to terminals 1 an 4.
4. If reading is still incorrect, replace air flow meter. If reading is now as specified, repair wiring between DME control unit and air flow sensor.
