Test Point 1 - Ground and Plug Connections

GROUND CONNECTIONS

Check the following ground locations for loose connections or damaged wires:

^ Ground connections on engine flange and clutch housing.
^ Ground strap from transmission to body.
^ Battery ground.

PLUG CONNECTIONS

Check the following plugs for loose connections or damaged wires:

^ DME and K/CP control units under passenger footwell.
^ 14 pin connector over brake booster.
^ Plug for oxygen sensor in rear of motor.
^ Plug for engine speed and reference sensors in rear of motor.
^ Connector at throttle switch.
^ Air flow connector.
^ Engine temperature sensor near cylinder #1.
^ Plug at timing valve under intake manifold.
^ Knock sensor, mounted to block between cylinders 2 and 3.
^ Plug at idle speed control, under the intake manifold.
