Distributor Drive Belt

Replacing distributor drive belt

Replacement distributor drive belts are available from the aftermarket, however Porsche does not provide a distributor drive belt replacement procedure. Porsche recommends that distributor is replaced as a complete assembly.

If belt is replaced, refer to distributor alignment to ensure that distributor shafts are properly aligned. Refer to Distributor Alignment for procedure Distributor Alignment
