Final Drive
G64 transmissions have a hypoid drive pinion/ring gear set and the center axis of the ring gear is 16 mm higher than the center axis of the pinion shaft.

Pinion shaft and ring gear are paired and manufactured by oelikon-spirofiex process. Design distance R0 for the pinion shaft is 61 mm.

The following information for adjustments is provided on the ring gear in addition to the production date.
- Pairing number (98)
- Adjusting distance (E 60.95)
- Backlash (F 0.16)

NOTE: The backlash recommended on the ring gear should not be exceeded during adjustments.
