Oil Pump: Service and Repair

911 Turbo
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove oil pump guard at exhaust pipe.
2. Disconnect oil pump inlet and pressure lines.
3. Remove oil pump attaching bolts, then the oil pump.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Use new gasket.
b. Install oil pump shaft pin between camshaft keys. Left side camshaft keys must be protruding .315 inch (8 mm) beyond camshaft face. Key slots must be positioned properly to avoid oil pump pin from resting in a slot.
