Concern:
A new wheel lock is available which is 15 mm shorter and is 7 grams less in weight than previous versions.





General Information:
The new wheel lock has been installed in production as of August 17, 1992. The new lock is closer in appearance and weight to the standard lug nuts. With the introduction of this lock, the tool for removal of the protective cap has been eliminated (see Figure 1, Number 5). Removal of the protective cap is done by using the lock key which is supplied with the lock set. There is a notch cut into the key which is used for removal of the protective cap (see Figure 2).
