Ignition System: Description and Operation

Ignition system consists of two four cylinder distributors, two coils, two ignition amplifiers, an ignition monitoring circuit, and the EZK control unit. Left distributor fires cylinders 2-5-8-3, right fires 1-7-6-4. EZK unit controls ignition timing and is equipped with knock control. Knock sensors are mounted on each side of engine block.
