Warranty parts inaccurately tagged and/or without proper documentation.
ATTENTION: Service Manager / Warranty Administrator
The Warranty Parts Testing Center has been receiving parts inaccurately tagged and/or without proper documentation. The procedures for shipping warranty parts returns correctly are outlined in the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual, pages REIM-16 and 17.
As of October 15, 1994, if the conditions mentioned above continue, the Warranty Parts Testing Center personnel will refuse the shipment(s) and the parts(s) will be returned to the dealership. This delay in processing could cause the claim(s) to be debited for "Eight Week Response Time Exceeded."
To prevent this from occurring, we strongly urge all dealers to review the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual, pages REIM-16 and 17.
