Repair Information:
The socket (Tool Number 9219) used for disassembly of the pinion shaft on the Porsche 928 with manual transmission must be modified to be used on the Porsche 928 GTS manual transmission.

The modification is necessary due to an increase in the diameter of the end of the pinion shaft on the 928 GTS transmission.





The polyamide sleeve inside the special tool 9219 must be machined to an inside diameter of 28.3 mm.

This modification is to be done locally. It is not necessary to remove the polyamide insert for modification.
