Work Procedure "C"
Performed in Conjunction with Recall P01911 Speedster, Model Year 1994 - Installation of rubber door stops on the A-pillar.
The opening angle of both doors must be reduced by installing rubber stops near the lower door hinge. Because the area in which the rubber stop is to be installed is not visible nor easily accessible, please read the entire work procedure 'C" before beginning repairs.
1. Open the left door to the second holding point of the door arrester.
2. Using the left hand index finger, locate the area "X" (in photo) under and ahead of the lower door hinge. Clean this area free of dirt and grease with a suitable cleaning solvent.
3. Remove the protective foil from the rubber stop.
4. Install the rubber stop on the A-pillar with the help of a pair of angled flat nose pliers. The location should be approximately 10 mm below the hinge and approximately 10 mm away from the outside edge of the A-pillar, towards the vehicle center (see photo).
5. Repeat procedure on right side door.

Vehicles built after May 12, 1993, starting with VIN WP0CB296RX465266 are modified in the production phase and do not require installation of the rubber stop.
